COUNTER-STRIKE 2 / TROUBLESHOOTING

CS2 Cheat Menu Not Opening: What to Check

If your CS2 cheat menu will not open, first identify where the problem occurs. A loader that never launches, a loading error and a missing menu after a reported successful load are different symptoms.

This guide helps organize checks for ESHub's CS2: Predator and CS2: Fecurity. Use the current instructions for your exact product to confirm loading order and menu controls.

1. Identify the Last Successful Step

The Loader Does Not Launch

Record whether nothing happens, the loader closes or Windows displays a message. Confirm the download source and inspect the exact message before repeating the launch.

A loader-launch failure happens before the in-game menu. Changing aim or ESP settings will not address that stage.

The Loader Reports an Error

Record the complete error and the step that triggered it. Check access validity, current product availability and the loading instructions.

Keep the message intact when contacting support; a paraphrase such as “loading failed” may omit the useful detail.

Loading Completes, Menu Is Missing

Check the assigned menu key, game focus and supported display mode. Note whether any other product visuals appear.

If the menu opens but overlays are missing, continue to CS2 ESP Not Showing.

2. Check the Assigned Menu Key

Do not assume that every product uses Insert, Home or the same default key. Fecurity explicitly lists a configurable Menu Key; verify the assigned control in its instructions or your saved settings.

A compact keyboard may place some keys behind an Fn combination. Confirm that you are sending the intended key and that another application has not assigned it to a conflicting shortcut.

Bring the game into focus and try the documented menu action. Avoid confusing the menu key with an aimbot activation key, triggerbot toggle or another feature hotkey.

The Config & Per-Weapon Settings guide explains how menu, aim and firing controls differ.

3. Verify the Product Requirements

Both Predator and Fecurity list Windows 10 and 11 with Intel and AMD processors. Fecurity additionally lists UEFI BIOS, Steam/5E and Fullscreen, Borderless and Windowed display modes.

Use the System Requirements guide to record your Windows build and BIOS Mode where relevant. Check your product's current loading instructions for any additional conditions.

Do not apply Fecurity's documented display-mode support to Predator automatically. A missing menu also does not establish that Secure Boot, TPM or virtualization needs changing.

4. Check Loading Order and Current Availability

  1. Review the product's current instructions. Confirm which applications should be open at each stage.
  2. Check availability. A recent CS2 update may require product maintenance. Review current status information rather than repeatedly attempting a failing load.
  3. Use the official delivery route. Confirm that the loader comes from the service you purchased from and is the version its instructions reference.
  4. Record the result of one controlled attempt. Follow the documented sequence and note the last successful step.

A repeated failure with the same error is useful evidence for support. Launching multiple copies or changing unrelated settings can make the symptom harder to interpret.

5. Separate Menu Visibility from Feature Visibility

If you can open the menu, menu access is working even when a feature does not appear. Check the relevant feature controls rather than treating every missing visual as a menu failure.

Fecurity lists Menu DPI. If its menu appears but sizing is wrong, that is a different symptom from the menu not opening. Use its documented control rather than assuming a DPI option exists in both products.

6. Inspect Security Messages Before Acting

If Windows or security software blocks a file, keep the exact alert and confirm its source. A warning is not automatically a false positive, and a missing menu alone is not a reason to disable protections.

Ask support to explain the alert and the relevant product requirements. Avoid downloads from unofficial mirrors claiming to provide a “fixed” loader.

Successful loading also does not establish account safety. Read Are CS2 Cheats Safe? for that separate question.

Send Support a Clear Report

  • Product: CS2: Predator or CS2: Fecurity.
  • Environment: Windows version/build, game platform and display mode.
  • Loader: version if shown, launch result and any exact error.
  • Menu: assigned key and whether any other product visuals appear.
  • Sequence: the last successful step and when the issue began.

Remove license keys, passwords and private account details from public screenshots. A concise report with the exact symptom is more useful than “nothing works.”

CS2 Menu Troubleshooting Questions

What should I check first if the CS2 cheat menu does not open?

Identify whether the loader failed, the product reported a loading error or only the menu is missing. Then check the current product instructions and assigned menu key.

Is Insert the menu key for both products?

A shared default key is not established here. Fecurity lists a configurable Menu Key. Use the key documented or assigned for your product rather than assuming Insert.

What if the menu opens but ESP does not show?

That is a separate overlay or feature symptom. Use the CS2 ESP Not Showing guide and check the relevant visual controls and supported display mode.

Should I change Secure Boot or disable security software to fix the menu?

Do not infer those changes from a missing menu alone. Follow the current product requirements and investigate any security alert before taking action.

What information should I send support?

Include the product name, loader version if shown, Windows build, game platform, display mode, exact error and the last successful loading step. Remove license keys and private account information from public screenshots.
