Fortnite recoil control concerns weapon kick rather than target selection. The supplied Fortnite: Internal feature list names No Recoil, No Spread and No Bloom separately. This page explains the distinctions so you can understand what each label addresses.

Fortnite: Internal Video Showcase

This is the supplied general product showcase, rather than a dedicated demonstration of every control discussed in this guide.

Three Different Weapon Effects

Recoil

Recoil is the weapon’s kick or aim displacement associated with firing. A No Recoil feature concerns that behavior; it is separate from choosing an opponent or moving toward a hitbox.

Spread

Spread describes the distribution of shot directions around the intended aim point. A No Spread label addresses this distribution rather than the visible kick itself.

Bloom

Bloom commonly refers to an accuracy-area change linked to weapon state or firing. The exact relationship with spread depends on the game’s implementation, so the two listed toggles should not automatically be treated as duplicates.

Targeting

Aimbot controls such as FOV, prediction and hitbox selection concern targeting. They do not describe the same function as recoil, spread or bloom controls.

No Recoil Is Not the Same as Aimbot

Changing weapon kick does not, by itself, select a target. For targeting controls, read Aimbot & Memory Aim. For firing conditions, use the Triggerbot guide.

Keeping these functions separate makes it easier to identify which setting is responsible for an unexpected result.

Other Weapon Options in the Feature List

The supplied list also names Infinite Ammo, Instant Reload, Rapid Fire, ADS While Jumping, Double Pump and weapon-charge controls. These are separate mechanics rather than alternate names for recoil control.

The list does not establish that every weapon supports every option. Check the current menu and product instructions for weapon-specific limits.

Reviewing a Weapon Configuration

Inspect related options individually:

  • Check whether No Recoil, No Spread and No Bloom are enabled separately.
  • Identify the weapon associated with the behavior you are reviewing.
  • Review aim assistance and trigger settings as separate groups.
  • Check whether a saved profile changed your earlier selections.
  • Record which single setting changed the result before adjusting another.

The Config & Settings guide covers saving and loading profiles.

Keep Preview Claims Specific

A general gameplay video can show the wider package, but it is not proof of universal weapon support or a numerical accuracy guarantee. Use the current feature documentation to distinguish a listed control from a demonstrated result.
